I was initially referred to Williwu in 2014 when I held the title of Miss Kirkland USA. I was extremely motivated to get in shape for the Washington USA state competition and knew that I could only achieve my goal with Wu as my trainer. In our first session he asked me what areas I wanted to target and the look I was after. In pageantry, the longer and more lean, the better. In just a few short months, I felt like a version of myself I had never known. I had no idea that my body could be so toned. We trained for about 4 months and to this day, I am still amazed at how great my body looked. Though I didn’t weigh myself, I do know I went from a size 6 to a size 2. Williwu encouraged me throughout every session and he knew exactly how to formulate the workouts to my exact needs. I was so proud of myself and so grateful for his expertise.
Though I didn’t go home with the title that year, I was able to represent Washington the following year at the Miss World America pageant. After a 9 month hiatus from strict training, I called Williwu in a panic because the pageant had just informed us that they replaced the swimsuit portion of competition with a fitness test. (Amazing news for women.) I only had 3-4 weeks to get myself in competitive shape for the fitness phase of competition. Wu pushed me hard! He knew that the training would be much different than it was the first time. We had a different goal this time. We didn’t know how they would measure the fitness test so Wu made sure to make my whole body strong. After only a few weeks of training, I placed in the top 10 in fitness!!! It was the biggest mental and physical achievement of my life and I owe it all to Williwu. He is the best trainer I have ever worked with. He is engaging and he listens. He got me in the best shape of my life and helped me achieve more than I thought I could. As Miss Kirkland USA, he helped me get a super slim, toned, lean body and as Miss Washington World 2015 he helped me achieve a powerful strong, fit, look. He can do it all! I cannot give Williwu enough praises. He is a wonderful person and an excellent trainer!!
Wu is a great person with so much knowledge. He has made me become better mentally and physically and helped me reach my goals. A great example of this is when I first started working out with Wu I could barely squat the bar with a 10-pound plate on each side and barley bench the bar. But now with Wu’s help and constant grinding I can now bench over 130 lbs. and over 250 lbs. Wu drives me to be great every day and I could ask for a better mentor and friend.
Running Hills with Wu made me a much faster person, he pushed me to my limits and it made me a faster defensive player. Wu put me through hard workouts and it made me much stronger, it helped me to stand my own in basketball games and be physical. Training with Wu doesn’t just make you stronger it makes you a better person wanting to work harder, pushing you to your limits. Wu’s training benefited me a lot in my sports career.
I loved working with Wu! He made training so fun with his friendly handshakes, and I improved so much. He corrected my running form which made me sprint faster, and we did a ton of drills with only my left foot (that he made fun) so I can play with my left foot just as easily as my right on on the soccer field. We also cross trained so I became stronger in my upper body. He was understanding and encouraging- just the best!
Williwu is not just an awesome trainer and coach, he is the nicest guy there is! He will apply his extensive knowledge and rich experience in any training he does with you, and he will be motivational through the whole process. After a badly sprained ankle recovery, Williwu trained my daughter for the volleyball tryouts and she made the team easily. He also trained our son and his friends for basketball.
If you are serious pro athlete, wants to just get in shape or anything in between, work with Williwu. You will have fun and achieve awesome results!
