When Greg was young, he trained in martial arts. He returned to this discipline years later with his son. He has trained as a student and taught as an instructor for over 16 years and is a 3rd degree black belt. His mixed martial arts training includes grappling, sparing, escrima, Aikado, and self-defense. He has taught cardio kickboxing for over ten years and is known for his enthusiasm, creativity and easy-going manner.
Greg was born and raised on the Island of Guam. He joined the armed forces in 1982 and served for over 13 years, both active and for the National Guard of Washington State before settling down in Kent, WA. During his time in the military, he earned his Associates Degree. He has 4 kids, 2 grandkids, with one on the way, and a wife with whom he’s been married for almost 30 years. His hobbies include ping pong, spending time with the grandkids and family, volleyball, golf, and travel.
His goals are to be the best he can be as his Lord and Savior intended. Life on this earth is short, so it’s important to make the best of every day and look at each day as a blessing.
