Fitness Manager/Coach

Fitness was never a part of Lisa’s childhood. She spent her free time with her nose in a book and away from the gym. As an adult, she went on several short-term fitness kicks only to be derailed by work or kids. It wasn’t until she enrolled her kids in karate that she found her passion. As she sat waiting for her kids, she peeked in on an adult kickboxing class. She was hooked! That was 12 years ago, and she’s been dedicated to fitness ever since. She has assisted in kickboxing and personal defense classes for years, attended various Bootcamps and ran numerous races, including five ½ marathons.

Lisa has a BA in Business, Personal Training Certification from the American Sports & Fitness Association (ASFA) and is testing for the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) certification in April. Her enthusiasm for fitness is contagious. She wants to help others find a fitness program that will keep them coming back to the gym over and over. As a firm believer that it is never too late to start or to try again, she wants everyone to become the healthiest version of themselves. Lisa loves helping people achieve their fitness goals in Kent!

Running Hills with Wu made me a much faster person, he pushed me to my limits and it made me a faster defensive player. Wu put me through hard workouts and it made me much stronger, it helped me to stand my own in basketball games and be physical. Training with Wu doesn’t just make you stronger it makes you a better person wanting to work harder, pushing you to your limits. Wu’s training benefited me a lot in my sports career.

Wu is a great person with so much knowledge. He has made me become better mentally and physically and helped me reach my goals. A great example of this is when I first started working out with Wu I could barely squat the bar with a 10-pound plate on each side and barley bench the bar. But now with Wu's help and constant grinding I can now bench over 130 lbs. and over 250 lbs. Wu drives me to be great every day and I could ask for a better mentor and friend.
